Artemisia's mother is not dead. Her spirit, speaking through Agnes's spirit board, said she is trapped in the Ethereal Plane and pointed to Zeindenburgh. Her last word was a warning: "don't trust".

📝 A grave marked "Celeste Candor" was empty. A strawberry-blonde elf woman was seen a year ago with a shadowy, deep-voiced man, heading for Bobesk (beyond Vallaki). Zeindenburgh lies far to the south-west, through the Dread Pass below the Dreadfort.

The bones are back beneath the altar, but Henrik desecrated them with living blood. Until they are blessed again, Vallaki's protection is fading.

📝 Father Petrovich needs around 1,000gp of incense; there is barely 200gp worth in Vallaki. He is sending ravens to the Abbot of St Markovia's Abbey in Krezk and every parish. An undead army waits at the bottom of Lake Zarovich.

📝 It was Arrigal of the Luvash clan: his Vistani drank the inn dry and stole Madame Panostova's horses and cart. Arrigal also forged the letter that lured Balric to Barovia.
